FOREST OF LIGHT

It was born from the interest of studying light as a symbol of hope for the Colombian people affected by violence, however, it has a high probability of leaving it, because we are in a historic moment! we have the opportunity to create a new reality that we have never lived.

The Colombian peace process has the capacity to transform war into memory, peace and development, because “history teaches that it is possible to make radical revolutions without cruelty, without the useless human sacrifice”. Fals Borda, O (1962). Violence in Colombia, Book 1. Bogotá, Colombia: Pisa Ediciones.

The installation “Forest of Light” are that answer the need of light-hope that the Colombian people need, they are a combination proposal, that includes the arts and that uses technology as an artistic poetic tool with a social and hopeful message in which elements electronic, industrial and chemical type such as cables, led lights, stainless steel, rusted metal, mirrors, glass, mineral oils and fluorescent substances, which seeks through art to carry a massive pedagogical message.
